Abstract

This study aimed to explore the transferability of fantasy verbal expressions in films during their subtitling into another language, employing a comparative analytical methodology. The analysis focused on a sampling of examples containing fantasy manifestations of diverse types, assessing their contextual and semantic dimensions along with their residual impact, to observe alterations occurring in two subtitled versions from the same target language domain
