Abstract

Sufis expressed wisely their spiritual experiences, in a sublime and international literature, using implicit terms thus, western researchers were interested to translate them in order to discover their connotations, and what the sufis sought in their inner being. Through this research paper we’ve tried to shed light on some of encrypted sufi terms, quoted from the poetry collection of The Way of Abu Madyan and, the multiple interpretations they may bear, pointing out the most obstacles when translating their encoded meaning from Arabic to English, in parallel with their aesthetic and structural style. Accordingly proposing the best approach to overcome these challenges.
