Abstract

This study aimed to determine the relationship in how hidden messages are conveyed through media translation in its circulation of political images and speeches in order to exercise and display the controlling power of political language in the world. It is often imposed on the translator to state or leave out what the speaker implied, and this is through metaphor, metonymy, sarcasm, allusion, and others.
