Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the most common pronunciation difficulties that EFL learners
encounter, specifically master 2 students at the department of English at the University of Tlemcen. The study
aimed to diagnose the most notorious aspects of these problems in order to develop effective strategies for
improving pronunciation. The significance of this research lies in the fact that pronunciation is an essential
component of language learning, and it is often considered one of the most challenging aspects of second
language acquisition. By identifying the most common pronunciation problems, this study can contribute to the
development of effective teaching strategies that can help EFL learners improve their pronunciation skills.
Additionally, the study can provide valuable insights into the ways in which EFL learners perceive their own
pronunciation skills and the factors that influence their pronunciation performance.
