| dc.description.abstract | BLACK 5 (RB5) dye is used as a dye for cotton, wool, silk and polyamide textiles, pharmacy, food, cosmetics, plastics, photography and paper. synthesis intermediate .This substance enters the environment through wastewater and agriculture which causes ecological and health problems such as : ecotoxicity, methemoglobinemia, immunotoxicity, etc. This work consists of the study of the elimination of the RB5 dye by advanced oxidation processes, namely: direct photolysis, photocatalysis. Removal of RB5 was followed by UV/Vis spectrophotometry under different conditions. The results found show that the best condition for the degradation of RB5 is Ph =14 for photocatalyst concentration equal to 0.125 g/L. | en_US |
