Abstract

This study seeks to address the problem of translating Arabic heritage texts into the English language, by analyzing the translation of Lina Josi of the biography of Saif Bin Dhi Yazan and its comparison with the original Arabic text with the aim of monitoring the shortcomings resulting from the different references and evaluating the extent of fulfilling the translation of the originality and identity of the text. The debate opens on the possibility of reconciling the originality of the text and facilitating its understanding of the target audience.
