Abstract

This research highlights the importance of still images in the teaching and learning process of reading comprehension and vocabulary acquisition, particularly at the middle school level, specifically in the third year. As a pedagogical tool, still images prove to be particularly effective in enhancing students' understanding and retention of knowledge. It thus emphasizes the importance of appropriately using this tool in foreign language teaching
