Abstract

This study focuses on the role of the translator in valuing Algerian material heritage, in order to introduce and promote it to various cultures, and to increase awareness among individuals to preserve it and not forget its historical value. Additionally, the challenges and difficulties faced by the translator in translating heritage texts. Finally, we chose to translate the tourist brochures related to Algerian material heritage as they are an important means of introducing this heritage, including historical landmarks, traditional crafts, and more.
