Abstract

This memo focuses on the importance of Translation in overcoming the language barrier between peoples and highlights idiomatic expressions as a major cu ltural phenomenon. These expressions play a prominent role in conveying cultural heritage and social backgrounds. Translating them requires the translator to have sufficient cultural and linguistic knowledg to find equivalents in the target language, ensuring the translation process is successful. These expressions go beyond the literal meaning and inclusde the figurative aspect that creates a beautiful impact on the recipient. They help attract the reader and provoke their interest, reducing repetitiveness in the language and making it more exciting and engaging.
