This study explores the profound interplay between culture and language within the field of specialized translation, focusing on the intricate challenge of rendering the names of Algerian sweets into English. These sweets is heritage particularly those from Tlemcen and identity that resist literal translation without losing their deep meaning and rich contextual nuances. By developing precise and culturally sensitive culinary terminology aligned with international standards in specialized translation, this research offers innovative solutions to faithfully convey the essence of Tlemcen’s sweets, preserving their authentic cultural identity while opening avenues for their promotion and appeal in global markets. Furthermore, the study proposes a dynamic linguistic and marketing framework to strengthen the international presence of local products, blending the authenticity of tradition with the spirit of modernity in a compelling narrative that unites taste and culture
