Etudes Chimiques Et Biologiques Des Extraits Préparés à partir de Quelques Espèces De Cistacées Poussant En Algérie

Abstract

The laboratory of natural and bioactive substances (LASNABIO) of the University of Tlemcen has been interested for a decade in the extraction and characterization of bioactive molecules including essential oils known for their therapeutic virtues and their uses in several sectors. This work is a contribution to the valorization of some medicinal plants of North-West of Algeria. These are: Cistus ladaniferus, Cistus albidus and Cistus monspeliensis. The investigation of these species was conducted by a rational scientific study aimed the chemical analysis of the essential oils of the aerial part of the three species and subsequently valorize the aromatic extract by a biological study .The results obtained are promising for the use of these species as antimicrobial agents, antioxidants, antidiabetics and as biopesticides.
