Abstract

Our research is about the Amish community in Lancaster Pennsylvania in the nineteenth century. This group of people believe that the community is at the heart of their life and faith and that the way to salvation is to live as a loving society apart from the world ,they help each other and the whole community members work together to help a member in trouble. The Amish stress simplicity and humility. They avoid anything associated with selfexaltation, pride of position or enjoyment of power.
