Abstract
This research explores the evolution of the vampire archetype, tracing its journey from folkloric
myths to literary masterpieces and, finally, to cinematic portrayals. By focusing on Nosferatu
(1922), Interview with the Vampire (1994), and the Twilight series (2008–2012), it examines how
vampires have been reimagined through cinematographic techniques and cultural contexts. The
study highlights their transformation from monstrous figures of fear to complex characters
embodying themes of morality, desire, and coexistence, reflecting humanity’s evolving cultural
narratives.
