Abstract
Translation is an effective means of conveying meaning between languages through a single
communication channel. However, the focus has long been directed solely toward the
linguistic aspect, while one of the most crucial components of communication—body
language—has been largely neglected. This study aims to shed light on this non-verbal
dimension of the interpreter’s performance, whether conscious or unconscious, and to
highlight its vital role in reinforcing or shaping the transmitted message in ways that impact
the audience.
