Abstract

This research focuses on the impact of diglossia on Qur'an recitation among Tajweed learners in Tlemcen speech community. The study aims to depict the extent of dialectal phonetic interference with the accuracy of Arabic phonemes, and to propose practical solutions. The research utilised a questionnaire of 82 learners and interviews with four tajweed rules teachers from four different Qur'anic schools.
