Abstract

this study came to highlight the problem of translating medical abbreviations into Arabic. The development of medical sciences and the use of new methods and techniques have led to the emergence of many modern terms. One of the most important of these problems is the terminological multiplicity, which has become an obstacle in specialized translation, especially medical translation. This study also seeks to shed light on the difficulty of translation abbreviations, which makes it a big challenge for translators.
