Abstract
The present study is part of the didactics of FLE. It is interested in note-taking as a means of acquisition in
a learning situation at the university, where the student is facing a new mode of teaching in his university
training is the lectures. This study aims to evaluate the reliability and effectiveness of the technique of note
taking among FLE students during a lecture course in 3rd year license. The results obtained through a
quantitative approach, analysis and a participating observation has shown that the majority of students in
the 3rd year license do not master the techniques of note taking, as well as the content of their note taking
does not allow them to realize a coherent report of the taught matter.
