Abstract
The current investigation seeks to shed light on the necessity of enhancing the
teaching of ESP in general and the writing skillin particular in the field of
Banking and Finance. It is a step toward helping ESP students operate well in
ESP situations using a good written English language.
The aim of thisstudy is mainly to propose a sample unit that comprises
different language elements for third year Bank and Finance students. It also
seeks to uncover the difficulties met by both ESP teachers and students while
dealing with writingggest some remedial actions that would remedy the situation
in hands and better students’ written performances.
