Résumé: The current investigation attempted at explaining effectiveness of class participation in promoting oral production. Hence, a case study was conducted with third-year foreign languages learners at Miloud Bouazza in Maghnia as well as their teachers of English, where the former received an interview and the latter received a questionnaire. In addition, the researcher did classroom observation as an extra method of collecting data. Both teachers and learners confirmed that class participation seems to play a significant role in enhancing oral skills.
