Résumé: | This work aims at studying the students‟ motivation for reading and the teachers‟ influence on it. It investigates the role of the teacher as a source of motivation for students‟ motivation and engagement for reading, his awareness of such role, attitudes towards it and the reading instructional strategies used, which have a significant impact on the students‟ motivation for reading. |
