Résumé: Our work deals with the synthesis of a bentonite type clay intercalated with titanium. These clays were further used as support for ceria oxide impregnation. Textural analysis showed that impregnation of cerium oxide increased samples surface area that can be explained by the penetration of cerium oxide into the pores causing their blockages. XRD analysis showed characteristic diffraction peaks of cerium oxide, titanium oxide and montmorillonite. The FTIR analysis made it possible to highlight the different links presents in our materials. SEM scanning electron microscopy showed the crystalline dimensions of different materials and ATG analysis showed mass losses due to deshydratation and deshydroxylation phenomena. Catalytic performances of our materials were evaluated in the reaction of cyclohexene oxidation with TBHP as oxidant. The results of the conversions and selectivities obtained show that the path of the allylic oxidation is preponderant with the formation of cyclohexenol as the majority product.
