| dc.description.abstract | Palestinians in exile are an important part of the Palestinian diaspora community. They are a marginalized group, who do not receive much attention or consideration of their suffering and the challenges they face. The portrayal of exile and the Palestinian Diaspora is rarely accurate unless the writer recognises the realities of life in exile. This research aims to shed light on such works as The Blue Between Sky and Water by Susan Abulhawa. The novel is a multi-generational saga of a Palestinian family who had been forcibly displaced from their homeland during the Nakba. The main purpose of this research is to study how Abulhawa depicts the Palestinian exile, diaspora, and displacement through the novel. | en_US |
