dc.description.abstractThe current study aims at achieving several goals, the most important of which is providing academic support to students of the Translation Department, and highlighting some points that contribute to the formation of the interpreter’s personality, besides presenting the development that occurred in; translation, its teaching approaches and its most important professional competencies. In light of recent trends, and the competencies and skills required to be acquired, this study has introduced some contemporary perceptions and models that play a role in preparing competent interpreters.en_US
