dc.description.abstractThis research is an attempt to analyze Joseph Conrad’s use of stylistic and linguistic aspects in his short story Heart of Darkness. It aims to shed light on the different choices that the Polish writer makes in writing his tale, and this concern style and the way of using the English language. The point here is to examine how Conrad as a foreigner applied his modernist tendency to create an assorted style that is characterized by a phenomenal use of the English language to convey the themes of the novel, and which reflects the reality of the Imperial system and the human’s heart as wellen_US
