Caractérisation épidémiologique de la population de Souani par le diabète

Abstract

This study aims to explore the general profile of the population of Souani and to identify the risk factors for diabetes within it. Through a selection carried out on a random sample of 120 people, including individuals with diabetes and others without, we tried to determine the risk factors for diabetes in this population after data analysis. Statistical analyses were used to identify the most influential risk factors for diabetes. Thus, the significant factors (Gender, Family history, Consanguinity, people who consume tobacco, GS.) and other factors not linked to diabetes. The results could contribute to the development of prevention and treatment strategies targeted at this population exposed to increased risks of diabetes.
