This thesis examines the varied modes of transportation in America that were the most influential and most important inventions created in the 1920's. It helped both the economy and the lives of American people. It led to the growth of the states. Transportation was important because it facilitated trade, exchange and travel. Prior the development of transportation in 1920, regions were largely isolated from one another. Effective, affordable, it also played a role in letting people move to new areas.en_US
