Abstract

Our work focuses on the medical translation ,Where we sought through this study to shedding light on the translation of the term for dental surgery , we discussed on the definition of translation linguistically and idiomatically, then we determined its history and importance, as well as specialized translation and its importance. We also dealt with terminology in its linguistic and idiomatic sense. It should also be noted that we relied on the descriptive, analytical and comparative approaches , This research aims to study the problem of translating the medical term for dental instruments from English into Arabic and even French.. The study necessitated resorting to work blogs represented in dictionaries and, which had the greatest assistance in overcoming some difficulties in analyzing medical terminology for dentistry . This is because we encountered some difficulties that were not mentioned in the two theoretical chapters, and this is what contributed to enriching the results reached, as well as the recommendations related to them.
