Effet du milieu de culture sur la formation des biofilms mixtesCandida albicans/Staphylococcus sp. isolés des dispositifs médicaux du CHU de Tlemcen

Abstract

Notre travail a porté sur l’étude de l’effet de la composition du milieu de culture ainsi que le pH sur la formation de biofilms mixtes in vitro de Candida albicans/Staphylococcus sp isolés des dispositifs médicaux du Centre Hospitalo-Universitaire de Tlemcen. Les résultats obtenus ont révélé que les espèces Candida albicans n’ont pas le même pouvoir de formation des biofilms mixtes avec Staphylococcus sp. La quantité de biofilms produits varie en fonction du milieu de culture et de son pH. Les sources de carbone favorisent la formation des hyphes de Candida albicans, ce qui influence l'attachement des bactéries et la formation de biofilms mixtes. Mots-clés: Candida albicans, Staphylococcus sp, Biofilm mixte, Milieu de culture, pH, Glucose Summary Our work focused on the study of the effect of the composition of the culture medium as well as the pH on the formation of mixed biofilms in vitro by Candida albicans / Staphylococcus sp isolated from the medical devices of the University Hospital of Tlemcen. The results obtained revealed that the Candida albicans species do not have the same potency of formation of the mixed biofilms with Staphylococcus sp. The amount of biofilms produced varies according to the culture medium and its pH. Carbon sources favor the formation of hyphae of Candida albicans, which influences the attachment of bacteria and the formation of mixed biofilm.
