General Ecology

Abstract

The course covers the fundamental concepts of sustainable General ecology. The aim of this course is to make students understand the concept of ecosystem, abiotic and biotic factors and the interactions between these factors, the components of the ecosystem and its functioning. The aim is to make them aware that it is possible to act to preserve the environment, through their education, as well as at their own level, on their consumption, their daily activities and their society. During their university studies, whatever their speciality and their ambitions for their future career, students will have the opportunity to learn about and experience ecology. Ecology is a global science. Explaining ecology to younger generations stimulates their awareness and refines their individual and collective responsibility
