Abstract

This research highlights the major role that translation plays in the field of sports while focusing on the strategies employed in translating sport text, describing the attributes of the sports translator and the hurdles and obstacles he is facing in this field. Translation is considered as a significant component in the domain of sports which is a worldwide cultural phenomenon.
