dc.description.abstractThe current research attempted to investigate the importance of instrumental motivation on EFL Learning and the impact of that type of motivation on their academic achievements. Hence, the case study led with third-year License students at the Department of English at the University of Tlemcen, To reach this end, two types of instruments were used; a questionnaire for students and structured interview with teachers. The findings of this study revealed that instrumental motivation plays a very important role when learning English as a foreign language in addition to that it has a greater impact on EFL students’ academic achievements.en_US
