Abstract

Translation is a processthatattempts to transfer a message from one language to another. It ismainly a cultural transfer. It isundoubtedly the reasonwhichpushed us to approachthisstudy on the translation of cultural contents in children’s stories, relying on certain models. This researchaims to indicate the extent to which the Arab translators are committed to transferringthese contents from English intoArabic. In thisstudy, weexplained the methodsused by three translators to transfer the cultural contents, and ensure the protection of the Arabchildagainst cultural elementswhichseemforeign to him.
