dc.description.abstractThe translator only acquires his translation competence through a complete understanding of the theoretical concepts on one hand, and practical training in their use and application on the other hand. Based on this foundation, the objective of this research was to clarify the difference between translation as an end and translation as a means, by establishing the relationship between the theoretical and practical aspects in the field of translation, and highlighting how the theoretical concepts positively influence the practical practice of translation.en_US
