Abstract

This research aims to demonstrate the importance of interpretation in the legal field, as we have addressed the topic of sight translation, which is one of the most important methods of translation of courts, by which Lockerbie was tried. Where we found in this research that sight translation is indispensable in the world of the courts. Cultural and social interactions and the diversity of languages and different contexts require the presence of an interpreter to facilitate communication. It is an essential factor in achieving a fair trial.
