Abstract

Translation is a vast sea whereas sometime the process is limited to scientific or technical field; with it communication is made between the types and the spectrum of societies. English holds a place in Algeria in many fields. This research dealt with traffic signs in Algeria, where we proposed a translation to target language that is (English) from arabic language in which a simple and clear language is used in order to be easy to comprehend especially the term itself is taken from latin language. Therefore, we tried to find an equivalent for it.
