Abstract

In this research, we seek to clarify the importance of legal translation and to show its types, which differ and vary according to mechanisms used in conveying the legal discourse. In this study, we try to identify the most important difficulties facing the legal translator in order to give the exact technical equivalent of the legal terms. This study required an analytical comparison of the translation of some criminal law terms and lease agreement forms.
