Abstract

Our thesis proposes an analytical study of translation teaching programs in the first year of the undergraduate program within the Department of Translation and Interpreting at the Faculty of Foreign Languages at Abou Bekr Belkaid University – Tlemcen. The aim is to analyze the content of specialized curricula intended for first-year translation students, by evaluating to what extent these programs achieve the pedagogical objectives related to the development of the future translator's skills, both theoretically and practically. The study also examines the coherence between the content and the stated objectives, while offering an analytical reading that could contribute to the improvement and effectiveness of the program, in line with the requirements of university training and the labor market.
