Abstract

The fellowing study adresses the issue of translated phonetic terms by looking at some terms in the Dictionary of Phonetics by Ali Al-Khouli and the Dictionary of Linguistics by Abdul Salam Al-Masdi and comparing them with the aim of identify the most common and used phonetic terms according to what has been approved by traditional and modern phontics books.
