Modification de la Bentonite de Maghnia et Applications dans l’adsorption de colorants textiles et de métaux lourds

Abstract

The aim of the present work based to the preparation and application of new modified bentonites. The initial idea is to modify the structure of a natural bentonite from deposits in the area of Maghnia (Algeria) by intercalation of the various organic cations. An activated bentonite with large surface area has been prepared and has shown good effectiveness in the adsorption of three textile dyes (Bezathren-Blue, Bezathren-Green, and Bezathren-Red) and heavy metals (Chromium (III) and Nickel (II).)).
