EFL Students Engagement in the Learning Process and the Contribution of Homework Assignments: Case of First Year EFL Students at Tlemcen University

Abstract

This research work aims to demonstrate where EFL students prefer to finish their homework assignments to improve their English language proficiency. Besides, it attempts to determine the best type of out-of-class activity that students rely on to maintain motivation level, trigger students’ engagement and commitment to language learning process, and also to extend student learning process.
