ملخص: محكمة العدل الدولية هي الجهاز القضائي الرئيسي للأمم المتحدة، تأسست في جوان 1945 ، وبدأت عملها في. أفريل 1946 مقر المحكمة هو في قصر السلام بلاهاي (هولندا)، وهي تتألف من 15 قاضيا ينتخبون من طرف الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة ومجلس الأمن لمدة تسع سنوات. اللغات المستعملة في المحكمة هي الفرنسية والانجليزية.

Résumé : La cour internationale de justice est l’organe judiciaire principale des nations unies. Il a été créé en Juin 1945 et a commencé à travailler en Avril 1946. Le siège de la cour au palais de la paix à La Haye (Pays-Bas),et elle est composée de 15 juges, qui sont élus pour un mondât de neuf ans par l’assemblée générale des nations unies et le conseil de sécurité. Ses langues officielles sont le français et l’anglais.

Summary: The international court of justice is the principal judicial organ of the United Nations. It was established in June 1945, and began work in April 1946. The seat of the court is at the peace palace in The Hague (Netherlands). The court is composed of 15 judges, who are elected for terms of office of nine years by United Nations general assembly and the Security Council. Its official languages are French and English.
