This research work focuses on the sociopragmatic aspects of Algerian and American idiomatic expressions, which are expressions that carry cultural meaning. The results indicate that the two languages have distinct paradigms based on different conceptualizations of the world. This suggests that individuals from diverse cultures and linguistic backgrounds may have different perceptions of the world in some cases, but share similar perspectives in others. The study highlights the role of idiomatic expressions in linguistic integration and highlights how they contribute to cognitive understanding, more fluid communication and the effective transmission of attitudes and emotions in a cultural context.en_US
