| Résumé: | Cancer is a major cause of death in the world, constituting a major public health concern. The main purpose of this work is the synthesis of some derivatives of cinnamic acid. This manuscript focuses on available data that demonstrate the value of this kind of structure as well as the different steps of the synthesis of a hybrid that recalls the structure of cinnamic acid using vanillin as a starting product which is at the origin of many anti-tumor effects. The first method of synthesis has led to the ester α-cyano-4-acetoxy-3-methoxycinnamate of methyl. While the second method, which is the protection of the phenol function of vanillin with an "imidate" sugar, we have reached the Vanillin 4-O-β-D glucopyranoside molecule |
