Résumé: Secondary school is the most important phase in education because the teacher interacts with teenagers, i.e., almost with complete minds which are able to acquire all kinds of knowledge academically and socially. However, the success of the teaching process in this period is related to the effects of teachers’ behaviours on pupils. This research work is a case study which takes place in El-Hadj Bouziane Abd-el-Kader secondary school; it is trying to explain through the use of both teachers and students’ questionnaires to investigate the status of the effect of teachers’ behaviours on learners’ performance in secondary school. The aim of this research work is to clear up how students are affected psychology and learners’ achievement by their teachers’ behaviours which appear clearly in their performance. Obviously, teachers care about their learners’ results; but nowadays most of them care only about learners with advanced levels and ignore the important role they have in the educational environment. The results obtained show that students of secondary schools are positively and negatively affected by their teachers’ behaviours, however; the effects could be adverse when the teacher neglects his role as he is an important factor in his learners’ progress.
