Résumé: The present study attempts to empirically examine the language attitudes of Tamazight students in order to check the vitality of this language. A case study was conducted with the use of a questionnaire administered to students and interviews conducted with teachers. Moreover, the current work takes place at the Department of Tamazight Language and Culture in Batna University with all levels students. In the light of the obtained results from gathering and analysing data, it has been revealed that the students hold positive attitudes toward Tamazight which will ultimately contribute in its vitality.
