Contribution à l'étude de Pistacia atiantica Desf. dans le Nord-Ouest Algérien: Aspects écotogiques et cartographie

Abstract

Résumé La région du Nord-Ouest algérien, déjà soumise à une forte péjoration climatique et à une activité anthropique excessive depuis plusieurs décennies, est confrontée aux menaces de la dégradation alarmante de ses ressources naturelles, à l'instar de Pistacia atiantica qui n'occupe aujourd'hui qu'une bien maigre proportion du territoire. Dans ce travail nous avons abordé les caractères écologiques de Pistacia atiantica ainsi que sa dynamique afin d'avoir une idée précise sur son évolution dans ces milieux qui sont à la limite de la rupture écologique. Sur l'aspect cartographique, nous avons élaboré un essai d'une carte de la répartition de cette espèce dans l'Algérie occidentale. La méthode d'étude a été basée sur l'approche phytoécologique à différentes échelles d'observations. Au niveau de la région écologique (à petite échelle) nous avons abordé l'analyse climatique dans son aire biogéographique. Au niveau du secteur écologique (à moyen échelle) nous avons essayé d'établir une carte de l'aire de Pistacia atlantica. Concernant l'étude de la végétation notre propre perception est basée sur I'appnxhe phyto-écologique par comparaison à l'échelle de la station écologique. A très grande échelle nous sommes amenés à effectué l'autoécologie de cette espèce en abordant l'étude d'anatomie et histométrie des feuilles et des rameaux. L'analyse des résultats obtenus nous a révélé de précieux renseignements aussi bien sur l'amplitude écologique, la dynamique et la répartition actuelle de Pistacia atiantica. Abstract The area of Algerian western north, already subjected to a strong climatic rigour and an excessive anthropic activity for several decades, has been confronted with the threats of the alarming degradation of its natural resources, following the example Pistacia atiantica which occupies today only one quite thin proportion of the territory. In this work we approached the ecological characters of Pistacia atiantica as its dynamics in order to have an precise idea on its evolution in these mediums which are with the ecological rupture limit. On the cartographic aspect, we worked out a test of a chart of the distribution ofthis species in Western Algeria. The method of study was based on the phytoecological approach on various scales of observations. On the level of the ecological region (with small scales) we approached the climatic analysis in its bio geographical area. On the level of the ecologica! sector (on average scale) we tried to establish a map of the area of Pistacia atiantica. Regarding the study of the vegetation our own perception is based on the phytoecological approach by comparison on the scale of the ecological station and finaily to very large scales, we are brought the Auto ecology of this species by approaching the study of anatomy and histometry of the sheets and the branches. The analysis of the resuits obtained revealed us invaluable information as well on the ecological amplitude, the dynamics and the current distribution of Pistacia atiantica.
