Mise au point d’une application de Géolocalisation Indoor via WiFi

Abstract

Dans ce PFE, nous développons une application mobile pour l’estimation de la position dans un environnement fermé à travers les signaux WiFi. Nous avons travaillé la méthode du Fingerprinting en implémentant l’algorithme du K plus proche voisin(KNN) et nous avons développé une application Android. Ce projet permit le développement d’un système de localisation minimisant la consommation énergétique. L’approche présentée ici est basée sur l’utilisation des réseaux locaux, sur l’utilisation des mesures du signal ce ces réseaux (RSSi) et sur le contenu d’une base de données locale. En utilisant cet ensemble d’informations, on a développé une méthodologie, basée sur un algorithme performant, pour assurer un positionnement fin. In this work, we developed a mobile application to estimate the position in an indoor building using WiFi signals. We applied the Fingerprinting method and implemented the algorithm of Nearest K neighbor(KNN). This project allowed the development of a localization system that minimized energy consumption, and the result of the project is an Android Application that works in all different Android Builds. The approach presented in our project is based on the use of local networks, the use of signal measurements of these networks(RSSi), and the content of a local database. Using this information and development tools, we developed a methodology, based on a powerful algorithm, to ensure a fine positioning.
