Etude des Diptères Simuliidae de la haute Tafna (Nord-Ouest algérien)

Abstract

En amont du Bassin versant de la Tafna (Nord-Ouest Algérien), à une altitude comprise en 1090m et 850m, les Diptères Simuliidae benthiques de cinq stations appartiennent à quatre espèces, S. (E.) velulinum, S. (W) pseudoquinum, S. (T) galloprovinciale et S. (S.) bezzii et un groupe de S. (S.) ornalum. La plus grande richesse spécifique est observée sur oued Chouly prés de la sa source. Les peuplements des cinq stations sont caractérisés par une nette dominance des espèces du groupe S. (S.)ornarum et de l'espèce S. (W)pseudoquinurn. L'espèce S. (S.)bezzii est rare et récoltée que dans deux stations. L'espèce S. (T)galloprovinciale est une espèce nouvellement signalée pour l'Algérie. Summary Upstream of the catchment of the Tafna (North-West of Algeria), at an altitude in 1090m and 850m, the Diptera Simuliidae benthic of five stations belong to four species, S. (E.) velulinum, S. (W.)pseudoquinum, S. (T) galloprovinciale and S. (S.) bezzii and group of S. (S.)ornalun1. The largest specific richness is observed on oued Chouly near its source. The stands of the five stations are characterized by a clear dominance of species in the group S. (S) ornatum and species of the S. (W) pseudoquinum. The species S.
