dc.description.abstractBefore the 20th Century opened, gender discrimination has been widely inscribed in society. Therefore, women were oppressed by a society that view women’s role primarily identified with her family rather than an individual. Besides, by marriage the husband and wife became one person and that person was the husband. American women strife and suffered for equal rights in a dialectical society. The findings of this research is to show the transformation of these women into committed feminists until the revival of feminine activism in the 1960’s. We understand the importance of this evolution undertaken by women to gain visibility and significance. The main objective of this extended essay is to show the importance of the Feminists in the history of America generally, and women especially. In fact, it was the voice that was needed within society. That pushed women to become complete. As a result, to create a world when men and women share not only children, home, and garden, not only the fulfillment of their biological roles, but the responsibilities and passions of the work that create the human future and the full human knowledgeen_US
