Résumé: | A Thermophotovoltaics cell (TPV) is a device for converting thermal radiation into electrical energy using photovoltaic cells. The device has been attracting growing interest in recent years, not least for its efficiency, which is superior to that of conventional photovoltaic conversion. This conversion process is generally carried out using thermal emitters heated to a temperature in excess of 800 C. The main aim of this work is to optimize the system geometry (cell layout and number of cells) for improved performance. The second objective is to increase the efficiency of Thermophotovoltaics (TPV) systems. |
